THE STORY
Once upon a time, in the heart of Rome, a visionary art collector had a dream.
He imagined a place where art could flourish, captivating the minds of collectors, artists, and enthusiasts. Guided by a deep passion, he curated a remarkable collection that celebrated the richness and diversity of artistic expression. From striking paintings to timeless sculptures by Italian and European masters from the 16th to the 20th century, each work was selected to stir emotion and spark imagination. In 1977, this vision took form with the founding of Sconci Gallery.
The vision continued to evolve, guided by a new generation of the founding Sconci family.
Raised within the world of art, the next successor brought a fresh, international perspective to the gallery’s future, identifying Dubai as the ideal place for expansion. In 2014, this vision took shape with the opening of a first branch in Dubai Design District. In 2018, the gallery expanded further with a second space in the Gate Village at Dubai International Financial Centre, known as the ‘Wall Street of Dubai’.
Today, with nearly five decades of experience, Sconci Gallery stands as a premier destination for art in the Middle East and beyond.
